Engaging the Borg...

The USS / CGV Tanmesad has encountered the Borg for the first time at Amleth Prime in the Cardassian Union. The ship took heavy damage and was virtually ineffective against the Black Box, the renegade Borg Colony under the command of Sir Percy, the Black Knights.

The Tanmesad was forced to use its Ultritium Weapon leaving very, very little Ultritrium remaining. The Star Destroyer was highly effective blowing a large whole in the cube which immediately evacuated. Though this can be seen as a victory by the Tanmesad and the Hebetian Government of Elim Garak, it must be seen as at a huge cost, the Star Destroyer weapon is now rendered virtually useless and the Black Box was not destroyed.

All ships in the area are warned about the renegade colony and its battle call,

"We are the Black Knights of Borg. Your Biological Entity is Inferior to ours and must be eliminated. Resistance is Futile."

Be afraid and be careful.
