Tanmesad rated NC - 17

Upon reading the rules for the Omega Fleet as Director of Fleet Services, it
has come to my attention that the Omega Fleet Forums has a PG - 13
rating.

It is important for all readers to know that the Tanmesad has an
NC - 17 rating.

The Simm message includes the following:

The Tanmesad is designed as collection of the finest fan fiction writers in Star Trek Simulation. Writers are encouraged to use all the characters in the story telling including active players and NPCs to tell your portion of the story. To be an effective member of the Tanmesad crew, you MUST continuously update your biographies.

The SIMM is rated NC - 17. All players are to be proven to be over the age of 16. There is sexual and violent content to life aboard the Tanmesad. All players need to have the moral ability to handle such content.

All players need to be keenly aware of the designation.

All posts made to the Omega Fleet Forum will be PG - 13 in nature.

May I sudgest that you list as rated R. In the US at least NC-17 is generally used to describe Pornographic content. while a R- Rating is still restricted to adults 17 and above it dose not suffer the same stigma. My station for example is rated Muture audiances only Using the M for mature gaming Rating system. AO or Adults only may also be used but again it suffers the stigma of porn or very graphic games. i beleave in covering yourself but i can say nothing i have seen has reached a level the is not covered R or M Ratings. and that would make us all look more friendly to firewalls and netnanny programs that crawl out websights.

At the request of Deputy Commander In Chief, Vice Admiral Nick Covington, the
USS / CGV Tanmesad has upgraded its cover rating to Restricted Adult. All
players will be required to be 18 years or older. There is a sexual and violent
nature to play aboard the vessel and steps must be taken to protect the exposure
of young minds.
