The destruction of Sigma Station Alpha - December 31, 2385

It is my sad duty to inform the friends and family of members of the Omega Fleet
stationed on Omega Fleet Headquarters, Sigma Station Alpha of the tragic death of
their family members and associates.

The station was attacked and destroyed on December 31, 2385 killing all aboard. An
extensive investigation has begun into the devastating attack and those responsible
will be brought to justice.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the friends and family members of these fine souls.
Their contribution to the Omega Fleet will not be soon forgotten and they have paved
the away for future expansion and serve as a beacon of light in a space almost
clouded with the darkness of war.

May their gods watch over them and we will get those responsible all ships are to report in so we can get an accurate idea on what resources are available and all ships are recommended to go to yellow alert in the event that this is a prelude to war.
