Commander Tania Branson Found Alive!!! MIA for 23 Years.

Tania Branson had been an absolute stellar Star Fleet Officer and a pinnacle example to females in Star Fleet nearly 20 years ago. She had an exempliary service record aboard the USS Yellow Stone and had produced 2 children with the Captain, Ivan Younger. She had been an outstanding mother and had even taken time off when the girls were very young to help build a better bond with the girls. They adored their mother.

Tania knew that there would be trouble when the Yellow Stone came into contact with the Borg Vessel known to Star Fleet as the Commune. She carefully bundled Nancy, then age 5 and Nicole, then only 3 years old into an escape pod and told them not to worry that she would be back shortly. This is the last time the girls would ever see their mother.

The Yellow Stone engaged the Commune and was lost to the Borg. Commander Tania Branson was listed as Missing In Action and Presumed Dead. Nancy has a shrine to her mother on Sigma Station Star Base Gamma One to this day. Tania Branson was assimilated into the Collective as Two of Ten, Communications Adjunct to the Borg Vessel Commune.

Two of Ten served the Collective as a primary communications officer aboard the Commune and serve the Borg Fleet at Wolf 359 as Communications Director. She had intricate knowledge of Star Fleet Vessels and Star Fleet Communications and was a leading contributor to the success of the Borg at Wolf 359 and had been responsible for substantial destruction of Star Fleet Vessels.

The Tanmesad had a lot of clean up to do when the ship was allowed to go into Free Fall at L-7166. Lt. Acrylos Teero actually discovered the disconnected Borg Female laying on the haul near a cargo bay door. Believing her to be dead, he took her to Engineering and not to Sick Bay. He always wanted to study how the Collective functioned and in particular how they were able to intrigate the Borg Technology with biological physiology. He showed the disconnected Borg to Lt. Amanda Hunter who began toying with the machine as well.

Lt. Amanda Hunter was stunned when the thing suddenly started to move and spoke, "This is Two of Ten of the Borg Vessel Commune, Please Respond."

Amanda screamed and Lt. Teero came rushing over. He immediately called Dr. Georgia Todd at Sick Bay. She came down. Amanda and Georgia worked on the disconnected borg for 20 straight hours trying to determine if it was the cyborg material that was repeating the message or if the human was still alive. They were able to get portions of the memory to replay learning that Two of Ten had continued to function even though the entire Commune shut down after the Borg Queen was defeated by the Enterprise.

The Communication Adjunct wandered the ship looking for a functioning unit and repeating the phrase, "This is Two of Ten of the Borg Vessel Commune, Please Respond."

Dr. Georgia Todd was in absolute shock when the DNA records revealed that the Communications Adjunct was Tania Branson, mother of Nancy and Nicole Branson. She did not look a day older than when she was assimilated even though over 20 years had passed.

Amanda was working on the chest area when suddenly a single tear rolled down the cheek of the disconnect borg. The Borg coughed and then laid down again. Dr. Todd was now frantically working on the disconnect Borg.

Rear Admiral Nicole Branson had heard about the incident and came down. She saw her mother. They look remarkably alike despite all the of the Borg entanglements. Nicole started to cry. She was overwhelmed collapsing to the floor. Dr. Lashanra Lyun-Enranet began to help the Omega Fleet Council Member.

Tania looked at Nicole and started to cry uncontrollably. It was as though a thousand memories came rushing back. She could not believe her daughter was old. Everyone in the Tanmesad Sick Bay was crying.

Tania looked at Dr. Todd and then at Lt. Amanda Hunter, "I am Commander Tania Branson of the USS Yellow Stone."

Her head jerked violently, almost seizure like. She stood up, "I am Two of Ten, Communications Adjunct to the Commune. Please Respond."

This is not going to be easy.
