Ship Status - Orbiting Dozaria on the edge of Maquis and Breen Space.

System Functionality - 27.888%

All Primary Support Systems are functional. All primary drive systems are currently off line.

Service Status - The Tanmesad is unavailable for Fleet Service for approx. 24 - 48 hours

Incident Report - The Tanmesad was involved in a tragic collision (As defined by the Cardassian Terrorist Organization, The Insadran Illparanrek) when the Breen Confederacy Vessel Cobra lost control after an apparent engine fire and rammed the Tanmesad near Dozaria on route to Star Base Sigma Station One killing 11 NPCs and 1 crew member, Dr. Celestrialla Greene as well as countless enlisted staff.

Tanmesad Report - Despite what is being reported by the Second Empire and Gul Macet from Cestus III (the so-called "New Cardassia"), the truth is the Ataravad Kot, the Flag Ship of the Second Empire fired upon the Cobra sending it careening into the Tanmesad nearly killing us all.

Post Counts - Only 5 recorded posts appear on the Tanmesad website despite countless others and over 65 in the history of the ship.

Crew History - All milestone and log in history was also lost.

I, as commanding officer, accept full responsiblity for the damage to the website and for experimenting on the system. I am a bit of a tinkerer and an html "newbie" so it was my fault. My experimentation nearly cost me Lt. Acrylos Teero who was "very upset" with losing his character and history. I had to beg him to stay on as an active player and announce on the anodyne forum that it was my fault.

The Tanmesad is also looking to move to SMS 2.6.1 in the near future and quite possibly a new host because of the loss of the database at starfleetuk.org.

I would also like to thank Vice Admiral Nick Covington for the hosting possibility at Omegafleet.info though as an Independent Vessel in Task Force 12, I will go another route.

Mission -

Cardassian Civil Conflict - Protecting the peace accord of Cardassia and the tenuous
on Peace in the former Cardassian Union.

The Tanmesad will begin a mission to supply food and supplies to the Omega Prime Outpost
as part of a joint mission with Omega Planet.

New Crew Members -

The Tanmesad is pleased to welcome Glinn Skrain Durar to the role of Chief Operations
Officer.

The Tanmesad is also pleased to welcome cast offs from the old Sigma Division welcoming
Tanus of Gorn and Lt. Commander Nancy Branson as playing characters.

Tragic Loss of Life -

The Tanmesad will mourn the loss of Gorr Ari Varno, daughter of our mentor Thua'ra Varno
of Cardassia who died in a tragic conduit failure incident aboard the Ship.

Departures -

The Tanmesad wishes the very best to our former Chief Medical Officer Dr. Skylight Greene
who leaves to become a Professor at the Star Fleet Academy and our Marine Commanding
Officer Graceland "Lando" Todd who returns to Earth with Dr. Greene.

Tanmesad Operations - 100%

For the first time in our history, the Tanmesad is 100% Operational with special thanks
to Lt. Commander Acrylos Teero and Lt. Commander Nancy Branson for their incredible
work on the Engineering repairs.

Dalin Vash Enranet becomes Dal Vash Enranet, with sincere thanks to the Omega Fleet.

Lt. Tania Branson becomes Lt. Commander Tania Branson and Chief Communications Officer
in addition to her regular duties as Executive Officer.

with honor and grace.

Mission -

The Station Is Plagued with Piracy, And a Terrorist bent on disrupting talks being
held at the staton Between the Federation, Elim Garek of Cardassia and the Romulans.
They are both coming to apply for membership in the federation.

New Crew Members -

The Station is pleased to welcome Rear Admiral Nicole Branson, Omega Fleet Director
of Fleet Services and Awards.

Station Operations - 100%

The station is fully functional and safely orbitting Omega Prime.

Promotion and Departures -

There are no promotions aboard Sigma Station Alpha. The Station wishes the very
best to the Cardassian Delegation under Minister Elim Garak and to the Romulan
Diplomatic Detachment on their journeys back to their respective systems.

Diplomatic Successes -

The Covington Conference succeeded in negotiating the safe withdrawal of the
Second Empire from the outer rim planets of the Celtris System (Cestus System,
as referred to by the Cardassians) without Romulan interference in the withdrawal.

The final session of the Covington Conference, known as the Marcus Meeting is
seen as one of the most successful Federation Diplomatic Sessions in the region.

Mission -

Cardassian Civil Conflict

Mission Completed with the fall of the Akbar Prime Fleet at Cardassia III. Legate Patral Lunar
becomes Governor of the Cestus System and agrees to join the Hebetian Democratic Republic.

Special thanks to the USS Striker, then under the command of Rear Admiral Jake Anderson
for their assistance.

New Mission -

Fighting the Terrorist War

Based upon the matyred act of terrorism committed by Lunar himself killing Ro Vasha, Governess
of the Avenal System and sending the Cardassian Union into a horrible terrorist war which has
thus far resulted in the destruction of the Hutet Class Flag Ship, Lonar Endek and badly damaged
the CGV Gulad, Ministerial Vessel of Minister Elim Garak.

Character Updates -

Executive Officer Cameron Viceroy took a brief leave of absence to return to Governor's Station
to visit his beloved wife Amy Viceroy and their daughter Allison after the tragic events surrounding
the death of Ro Vasha, daughter of commanding officer, Dal Vash Enranet.

Dal Vash Enranet was briefly removed from command after suffering a near nervous breakdown
after the death of Ro Vasha. Dr. Sasha Baminder, the Chief Medical Officer briefly held command
until it was handled by Gil Tamryn Laree until Lt. Commander Cameron Viceroy returned. Viceroy
remains in command of the Tanmesad until such time as Dal Vash Enranet is fit for duty.

Highlights:

The production of new buildings has been one of the highlights of November. The negotiations to establish the
Romulan Testing facility, ROME and the building of the business hub known as Veltkamp Village.

The naming of the river that runs between Veltkamp and Omega Prime as the River Covington

Problems:

The Omega Molecule that exists at the core of the planet has been destabilized multiple times resulting in geyser
style venting at the poles and the destruction of a large portion of the labratory at ROME.

Current Mission -

Target: Torros Tranquility

After successfully driving the terrorists from much of the Union, the Tanmesad will now concentrate on driving
the Jem'Hadar from the fringes of the Union.

Beginning with the Torros System, the Tanmesad will now patrol the very edges of the Omega Fleet Protected
Territory to drive the remnants of the Breen and Jem'Hadar from the Hebetian Republic.

Highlights -

The rescue of Polo Ro, as Mason Lyun from the Bajoran Prison. The successful election of Governor Harde of
the Avenal System whose power spread helped end the fourth mission of the Tanmesad. The growth in the
power base of the Hebetian Government has really ended the dominance of the terrorists and allowed the
Tanmesad to now focus on the remnant of Breen and JemHadar Forces still haunting the fringes of Cardassian
Space near the edge of the Torros System.

Problems -

Posting has slowed significantly with the new mission as writers adjust to the new protocols and new targets. If
the mission does not offer enough freedom, changes will be made. It is the first real slowdown in the history of
the Tanmesad.

Current Mission: Adrift

The Wrath of Achillies is adrift in deep space in the Gamma Quadrent after being attacked by rogue Dominion forces. The sole survivors must make thier way back to the Federation before all thier systems crash.

HIghlights

- So far the CMO, the Executive Officer, and the Commanding officer are the only playable characters aboard the ship.

- The EMH under orders from Rear Admiral Hunt is in the process of preparing the Abyss (captain's yacht) to evacutate all nonessential crew to Deep Space Nine and to call for assistance

- The Executive Officer has made some minor reparis restorying partial power and discovering that we are unable to activate forcefields on decks exposed to vacume, that only two of the necells are operational and we are stuck at a speed of Warp 1.

- Damaged Control teams have been assigned to manually patch the holes on the decks exposed to vacume.

Problems

None to report at this time.

Currently the Typhon is just finishing a extensive refit.

I hope to have in her in service at the beginning of the new year.

Then there's the crew issue of course but I hope that the Typhon being a slightly different sort of ship to most in Starfleet may encourage people in.

The People have started to build their homes, lands. cities, diplomatic functions with
the Klingons and Cardassia Prime is all so in a stage of trade negotiations in the best
interest of three planets.

Omega Prime Mayor has begun forming the new Government which will no doubt be
successful in all functions,star fleet academy has started accepting new cadets.

Of Note:

Two new players have signed on William Wells, first as Deputy Director of Temporal
Investigations and will now serve as Fleet Deputy Commander In Chief and Lt.
Commander Aloysius Storm, Commanding Officer of the USS Typhon, the carrier
orbiting the planet to complete its retrofit.

The Commune, a beautiful nightclub opens on Omega Prime. It will serve as a hub
for entertainment on the planet and is owned by Mary-Lou Cole and will be managed
by Bobbi-Lee Kennedy, most notedly owner of BLACK (Bobbi-Lee Ale, Coffee and Kanar)
the most famous coffee house in the quadrant.

Note -
USS / CGV Tanmesad was seriously hurt by the Christmas Break and by the
SIMMPLICITY crisis.

Current Mission -

Torros Tranquility - To bring peace to the Torros System on the fringes of Cardassian
Territory.

Of Note -

The Tanmesad had a temporal incident involving the Torros Transcedence, a stellar
anomoly which left the ship trapped on Earth in the time of dinosaurs. The heroic
rescue by the Marines will go down as one of the finest posts of the year.

We are currently wrapping up our first mission and will begin our second by the end of the week. Due to problems w/ simmplicity and the original server move we were forced to relocate the simm durring the last two weeks and were not able to complete the simm like we hoped.

Since the last update we have added two additional crew members .

It is a sad thing to report that our Emergency Medical Hologram has been corrupted by Section 31 and attempted to take command of the Achillies by force. Due to a coup by Section 31 the Achillies is now cut off from Starfleet and is being escorted back badly damaged to Deep Space Nine where the CO will be placed under arrest. (So they think muhahahha)

We also wish to announce that the Achillies shipboard computer has been replaced by the ships AI network that was secretly installed by Rear Admiral Hunt.
