The Omega Molecule is forever unstable. The Colonist knew this and still research continues. The Omega Fleet and its allies have always been searching for a way to harness the Omega Energy. The discovery brought the Romulans to the Omega Planet and their own research facility, ROME - ROMULAN OMEGA MOLECULE EXPERIMENT.
The problem now is the Omega Molecule has become unstable. Will the colonists be able to stop the "Fires of Omega" before the Worst Case Scenario occurs:
